Costs for Matters in Which a Plea of Guilty is Entered
We charge a set fee for all matters where you enter a plea of guilty. What that fee is will depend upon a number of factors, including the type of charge, whether it will be necessary to make representations to the Police in relation to altering the charges or amending the Police Facts, and how many Court appearances are likely to be required.
Our fees are very competitive.

We will be able to give you a general idea over the phone, and once we have read the Police Facts and discussed with you the circumstances of the offence we will be able to give you a firm quote in relation to the costs that you will need to pay.
Once we have quoted you a fixed cost, you can be assured that that is all you will have to pay us.
Costs for Matters in Which a Plea of Not Guilty is Entered and Matter Proceeds to Trial/Hearing
If you are pleading not guilty, then we may charge an hourly rate, or we may conduct the work on a combination of set fees for certain components of the work (e.g. initial Court mentions, and sometimes preparation components), and an hourly rate for other components (e.g. time spent in Court for the trial or hearing).
Please call us to discuss the range that your costs are likely to fall into. We may be able to give you a very broad idea over the telephone. However, once we have taken full instructions from you and sighted the Brief of Evidence (which contains all of the evidence upon which the Prosecution or the Director of Public Prosecutions will be relying to prove the charge or charges against you), we will be able to give you a better idea of the likely total costs.
We are completely transparent in relation to all of our charging, and will keep you advised as your matter progresses if there is likely to be any alteration in our estimates due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. multiple adjournments due to factors such as the Prosecution or Co-Accuseds not being ready to proceed).
